KUBRA Is Now SOC 3 Compliant
June 28, 2022
KUBRA is excited to share that we have received SOC 3 compliance. We have long recognized that a dedicated commitment to information security and transparency is key to maintaining our customers’ trust, which is why we pursued this rigorous accreditation. This process confirms KUBRA provides the highest level of compliance and verifies that we have effective internal controls to securely manage sensitive data and protect the privacy of our clients.
What Does SOC Stand For?
SOC stands for System and Organization Controls. It’s an external attestation of the internal controls and processes of any services organization developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
What Is a SOC 3 Report?
A SOC 3 report is governed by the same standards as a SOC 2 report but is for general use and can be distributed freely by the service organization. The report is issued following an intensive audit by an independent auditing firm. It certifies that the organization provides the highest level of certification and recognition of operational compliance that an organization can receive. Specifically, it registers how KUBRA’s information, security practices, policies, and procedures meet the SOC 3 trust principles criteria for security, availability, and confidentiality.
What Does It Mean for Our Clients?
Our clients can rest easy knowing they’ve partnered with an organization that maintains a high level of information security ensuring their data and that of their customer is well protected. On-site audits ensure strict compliance requirements are met, and sensitive information is handled responsibly.
