Rappahannock Electric Cooperative Optimizes Customer Communications During a Major Snowstorm

When a severe snowstorm hit Virginia, Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) reached out to KUBRA to help improve its outage communications so it could quickly communicate restoration efforts to its affected customers. KUBRA swiftly enabled additional features and added custom layers to REC’s Storm Center 5 outage map, allowing it to effectively manage the high number of outages within its service area and keep its customers informed as they weathered the storm.
